Packed in irresistible highlife, the young band Santrofi is a brand new group of young musicians from the Ghanaian capital of Accra, led by bassist Emmanuel Ofori (known for Pat Thomas & Kwashibu Area Band and Ebo Taylor).
The band creates a new highlife powerhouse consisting of extraordinary talent, playing this beautiful rhythm and synthesizer style, created in the early 20th century.
Perfectly combined rhythms, melodies and idioms, multiple guitars, groovy bass lines, traditional Ghana percussion, unique horn arrangements and background vocals create a congenial, exciting, swinging, fresh and tropical sound.
The band has several vocalists, and different singers take turns in front of the microphone. In addition, the multi-instrumentalists swap instruments during the show.
This has been a great time for Ghana's music, and Santrofi comes to represent the new generation with the blessing of the masters.

Embrenhado no irresistível highlife, a jovem banda Santrofi é um novo grupo de músicos jovens da capital ganense, Accra, liderado pelo baixista Emmanuel Ofori (conhecido por Pat Thomas & Kwashibu Area Band e Ebo Taylor).
A banda cria uma nova potência do highlife composta por talentos extraordinários, tocando esse belo ritmo e estilo de sintetizador, criado no início do século XX.
Ritmos, melodias e idiomas perfeitamente combinados, várias guitarras, linhas de baixo envolventes, percussão tradicional de Gana, arranjos únicos de metais e vocais de apoio criam um som agradável, emocionante, envolvente, fresco e tropical.
A banda conta com vários vocalistas, e diferentes cantores se revezam diante do microfone. Além disso, os multi-instrumentistas trocam de instrumentos durante o show.
