"An acrobatic, sensual voice, as angelic as it is profane" is the British newspaper The Guardian's definition of Bruno Capinan's singing. The Bahian artist based in Canada released his sixth studio album "Tara Rara" in May 2022, with performances in Canada, Cape Verde and Portugal.

On the new tour, Capinan sings songs from the new album accompanied by musicians Bem Gil (guitar), music producer Vivian Kuczynski (synths, programming), rhythmist Victoria dos Santos (percussions), and Canadian trumpet player Rudy Ray.

Bruno Capinan defines his new work as more solar and the most Bahian record of all. "This new work is a celebration of my ancestry, with lots of percussion and Brazilian rhythms, and was produced by a woman, with an orchestra of LGBTQI+ musicians," says Capinan. Capinan took the songs from "Tara Rara" to Cape Verde to perform at AME 2022. "Tara Rara" was recorded in Brazil, Canada, Portugal and Australia.

Owner of an extensive discography, Bruno Capinan released in 2020 "Leão Alado Sem Juba", an album produced during the pandemic, which was nominated for the APCA (Associação Paulista dos Críticos de Arte) award for best album. Also nominated for the award, his 2019 album "Real", considered by Brazilian critics and international vehicles as one of the best albums of the year, being featured in the publications Rolling Stone and GQ.
